Ann Marie Parquet is a junior at San Diego State University. She became actively involved with PRSSA after changing her major from theatre to journalism in fall 2010. By the end of her second semester with the chapter, she was elected director of internal relations for the 2011-2012 school year.

Ann Marie had the opportunity of working with the non-profit organization Servapalooza in April 2011 where she served as a social media intern for the event. She is also a current member of KCR Sports Radio at SDSU where she announces home games for the women’s volleyball team on goaztecs.com.

Ann Marie expects to graduate from SDSU in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. She hopes to advance her PR career in the hospitality industry and tourism industry.
