PRSSA Chair Positions
Take this chance to gain leadership experience and get an idea for what it’s like to be an e-board member!
Recruitment/Retention Chair:
The PRSSA recruitment and retention chair will be responsible for member recruitment and retention. They will work directly with the executive board, specifically with the director of public relations. Their responsibilities will include: outreach efforts, scheduling classroom walk-arounds, tabling, member highlights and meeting attendance. Recruitment and retention chairs will have a semester long term and will be appointed by the executive board.
Member Services Chair:
The PRSSA member services chair will be responsible for communicating membership benefits to chapter members. They will work directly with the president, vice president and national committee vice president of member services. Their responsibilities will include: updating members with information about scholarships and internships and applying for chapter Tehan awards in the spring semester. Member services chair will have a semester long term and will be appointed by the executive board.
Chair At Large:
The PRSSA chair at large will serve as a helping hand to all executive board members. They will work directly with all executive board members. Their responsibilities will include: attending at least one PSFA college council meeting (Wednesday at 1 p.m.), organize and execute fundraisers, organize and execute a volunteer opportunity, and help with recruitment and special events. The chair at large will have a semester long term and will be appointed by the executive board.
